As a Strategic Advisor, Earl brings 40 years of healthcare industry experience having served as both a clinician and executive in private practice and hospital settings.
As CEO of Tennessee Orthopaedic Clinics from 2001 to 2023, he led revenue growth of over 500% and later facilitated the 2020 merger that formed Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance, now one of the nation’s largest groups with 115 physicians, 32 locations, and over 1,000 employees. Earl is a recipient of the 2024 Innovator Award from the American Association of Orthopaedic Executives and has presented to organizations such as The Advisory Board, ACHE, Becker’s Healthcare Review, The OrthoForum, and Tennessee MGMA. He holds undergraduate and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of Tennessee, where he served as an athletic trainer for the UT Athletic Department. Earl is active in the Knoxville community where he has volunteered with the Arthritis Foundation, Special Olympics, and the AD Foundation. Earl is married to Kara, and they have two children and two grandchildren.
